Technical Features for Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ
The Celestron 21039 is a PowerSeeker 50mm f/12 refractor telescope with starter scope designed and fully coated glass optical components and high transmission coatings for enhanced image brightness and clarity for viewing the moon, planets, meteor showers and brighter deep-sky objects.
It features manual alt-azimuth mount that has an altitude lock and slow-motion controls for precise tracking of subjects.
This telescope have three eyepieces which provide 30x, 50x and 150x magnifications with a 3x Barlow lens that triples the magnification of each eyepiece for a wider-range of observing possibilities.
The Celestron 21039 features slow motion controls for smooth tracking and Erect image optics ideal for terrestrial and astronomical use.
The aluminum tripod provides a stable platform for sky-watching and the included 90° star diagonal makes looking through the scope more comfortable specially when aiming the telescope toward the zenith.
