Technical Features for Celestron Skymaster Pro 20x80

The Celestron 72031 is a SkyMaster Pro 20x80 binocular that is ideal for terrestrial or astronomical viewing. This binocular features proprietary XLT multicoating system to reduce reflection and increase light transmission through the entire optical system. It has a fully multi-coated optics for enhanced contrast and BaK4 prisms to provide good light transmission, excellent sharpness and clarity. The combination of optical coatings, prism, over-sized 80mm objectives, and the ability to use filters produce user-specific high-contrast views that are bright and crisp.

The 72031 brings distant objects into view with 20x magnification and is compatible with 1.25” astronomical eyepiece filters. It is polycarbonate and aluminum housing which makes it durable and lightweight. The fully waterproof housing is filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the internal lenses from fogging when moving between extreme temperatures or when using the binocular in damp conditions.
