The Celestron Advanced VX 7" Maksutov Cassegrain is a 7-inch f/15 telescope with StarBright XLT coatings for better light transmission which gives clear field views.It features autoguider port for long exposure imaging along with the ability to image across the meridian. All Star Polar alignment is Celestron's most advanced technologies to provide superior performance for smaller telescope.

The Celestron 12035 Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design is ideal for imagers and visual observers located in urban areas looking for a telescope that is much more portable since the entire kit disassembles into seperate lightweight manageable pieces. New dual saddle plate accomodates both the narrow CG-5 and also the larger CGE dovetail switching between them is simple into a seperate set of holes.
