Technical Features for Celestron 11" RASA-OTA

The Celestron 91706 is a 279mm Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt astrograph that is specifically designed for photographing and imaging all kinds of celestial objects. A 11inch aperture and a f/2.2 optical system is designed for professional applications that require both a wide field of view and resolution. The 4-element lens group uses extra-low dispersion glass for images free of false color and aberrations like coma and field curvature.

The Celestron RASA has an improved StarBright XLT, which includes anti-reflection coatings on the lenses and highly reflective coatings on the mirrors, increases light transmission throughout the entire optical path. It also features a Ultra-Stable Focus System, which ensures easy and stable focusing. The integrated air-cooling system in RASA V2 features a quiet, high-output 12V MagLev fan and vents with mesh filters to prevent dust ingress.
